GQA
GQA qualifications is an awarding organisation for specialist sectors and occupational roles.
Their current qualifications cover the glass, construction, coating and print industries. Their aim is to work only with industries that they have access to knowledge within GQA, giving them a real ability to discuss specific qualifications with both centres and employers.
Qualification development is carried out in accordance with regulatory and sector skill council requirements, using industry experts throughout the development and consultation processes. Pro-fitter is proud to be a GQA accredited and recognized training centre.
Having an external accreditation organization approve our centre, assures our Pro-fitters that we have been assessed and certified ourselves. We are also continually monitored.
All candidates who pass their Pro-fitter assessment get their details to the Pro-fitter database for employers and home owners to locate. Becoming Pro-fitter certified, our candidates will also be added to the GQA database, given a certificate of achievement and also issued with a photo ID card that has a QR code. The QR code can be scanned and instant status of the Pro-fitter candidate can be seen by the person searching. This ensure validity of the candidate, their pro-fitter status and also whether their membership is current or expired.’
